Jim started in business over 30 years ago after graduating from Maryland Institute of Art. His approach to all he does is through the eyes of an artist. Everything matters – the design, the layout, the colors and he loves the old homes and barns. They are his passion. “We are the stewards of History.” Historic Renovation/ Work on existing or relocated Historic homes/ Barns.
The use of vintage materials in your project.

Jim’s dog Moxie has traveled much of this road with him.

Over the years some of our projects having included moving four Antique Homes from neighboring towns to create an Antique Homes subdivision called “Pastures” located in Arundel, Maine. The dismantling and rebuilding of Antique Barns one from New Market, N.H. to Arrowsic, Maine recreated into a beautiful home. Another from Sanford, Maine to Kennebunk, Maine to recreate a Historical “tree barn’ at the Storer Mansion in Kennebunk , Maine . The tree can still be seen growing through the roof of the Barn much like an earlier tree did at the beginning of the properties history. Last year an old cow barn belonging to Lester Wildes from Kennebunkport, Maine was moved and rebuilt on a farm to be the home for sheep in the production of fine wool products. Another project involved the rebuilding of the Arundel Barn Playhouse in Arundel, Maine.
